Your Treatment 

How do I prepare for my treatment?

Do not use any active ingredients such as Retinol serums for 7 days before treatment.  Do not have any other face treatments such as peels or microneedling for 2 weeks prior to your treatment. 

​

It is best if you use good quality skin products before and after your sessions.  Your therapist can make some recommendations to you.

​

Is there down time with this treatment?

​

For the first 48 - 72 hours you will still feel the spicules in your skin.  These will fall out during the skin proliferation phase.  ​

​

Skin peeling can occur next. The degree of peeling will vary between people as well as the number of treatments you have received.

​

Do not expose the skin to sun for 3 days post treatment, an SPF must be used thereafter.

​

Only skin care products given to you or approved by your therapist should be used for 7 days post treatment.

​

Does Bio-Microneedling hurt?

​

There is minimal discomfort during treatment. 

For 2-3 days the skin will feel tingly and maybe prickly as the spicules work their way out.
